🎉Meet our 2024 interns from Macquarie University, UTS & UNSW! 🎉
We have five bright interns joining us through our collaboration with Macquarie University (MQBS3000), UNSW and UTS. They will be with us for the 10 weeks and we couldn’t be more excited about the fresh perspectives and boundless energy they’re bringing to EdgeRed.
Our intern coordinator, Shirlyn, has been hard at work coordinating with universities, interviewing interns and developing a 10-week program for our students to maximize their learning experience with us.

🌟 Natalie, Macquarie University (final year)
Hello, I’m Natalie Tran, a third-year Business Analytics student at Macquarie University. I’m set to graduate in 2025, and I’m passionate about leveraging data to solve complex business problems. A fun fact about me is that I’ve always tried out bubble tea spots in every place I’ve traveled to.
🌟 Devyani, Macquarie University (final year)
Hello! My name is Devyani (Dev) and I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Analytics from Macquarie University due to graduate in December 2024. I absolutely love research and have 3 publications on my name. Fun fact about me is that I am a hardcore animal lover and a culinary enthusiast 🙂
🌟 Jonathan, UTS (final year)
My name is Jonathan Elian Sjamsudin, and I’m an aspiring data analyst eager to collaborate with the EdgeRed team! I’m in the penultimate year of my Master of Information Technology (Extension) degree at UTS, which will conclude in June 2025. One fun fact about me is that I’ve had great luck winning lotteries; I’ve won a stove, a poker set, and an LCD screen TV before!
🌟 Jonas, Macquarie University (recently graduated)
Hi! I’m Jonas and recently graduated from a Bachelor of Commerce, Majoring in Finance at Macquarie University. I’m looking to expand my skill set particularly in the data analytics sphere. A couple fun facts about me is that I’ve studied abroad in Japan and I’m a massive Swiftie!
🌟 Jasmyn, UNSW (final year)
Hi 👋 I’m Jasmyn and I’m pursuing my Master’s in Information Technology at UNSW with a focus on AI and Data Science. I have a diverse background in social media marketing, project management, and tech innovation. When I’m not diving into AI and LLMs, you might find me leading a vinyasa class (I’m also a certified yoga teacher hehe) 🧘 I’m passionate about bridging the gap between technology and consumer-centric experiences. Fun fact: I spent some time bartending back in uni but ironically I’m allergic to alcohol 🫗
