EdgeRed is now a Microsoft Solutions Partner!

We’ve been working with the Microsoft stack for a while — Azure pipelines, Power BI reporting suites, and more recently, a solid run of Microsoft Fabric implementations. The partner certification formalises what was already happening in practice. We’re now a certified Microsoft Solutions Partner across two designations:
  • Digital & App Innovation
  • Data & AI
Both are earned through demonstrated client deployments and certified team members — not just training completions.

So, what does the partnership actully change? The honest answer: it doesn’t change how we build. We were doing this work before the badge, and the way we approach it stays the same. What it does change is access — direct support from Microsoft’s engineering teams, earlier visibility on product roadmaps, and a clearer channel when client environments run into platform-level issues. For our clients, it means less time waiting on platform issues and more confidence that the solutions we build won’t be left behind as Microsoft evolves Fabric and Azure.

What we’re building on the Microsoft stack

Most of our Microsoft work sits across three areas:
  • Power BI reporting and self-serve analytics. We’ve been building governed reporting suites for a while, increasingly structured as Power BI Apps so clients have one place to navigate their full suite of dashboards and insights — rather than hunting across scattered reports.
  • Azure data engineering. Pipelines, real-time data ingestion, integration with governance tooling. Azure’s scalability means the architecture holds up as data volumes and complexity grow.
  • Microsoft Fabric. This is where a lot of the recent work has been focused. Fabric brings together data engineering, warehousing, real-time analytics, and Power BI under one roof, built on a single storage layer called OneLake. For organisations already in the Microsoft ecosystem, it removes a lot of the tool-stitching that used to be unavoidable.

Talk to us

If you’re working with the Microsoft stack and want a team that knows it properly, we’re happy to have a straightforward conversation about what’s possible and what it would take. And yes, this is what a well-built Power BI App actually looks like — one place, all your reporting, no digging around.
