Last week, we had the chance to attend Thrive25, Lendi Group’s broker conference in Sydney. With over 900 brokers and industry leaders in the room, the event sparked some thoughtful discussions about the future of mortgage broking – and the growing role of data and technology in shaping that future.

A key theme throughout the sessions was the use of AI and data to reimagine the broker–client relationship. Conversational AI tools, for example, are helping to better understand customer needs and match them with the right support, leading to stronger engagement compared to traditional phone-first approaches.

It was also great to see how Lendi is learning from international partners like Rocket Mortgage and CoreLogic, and adapting those insights to the Australian market. These cross-market conversations are a good reminder that innovation is often driven by collaboration and shared ideas.
