Our Story
EdgeRed started in 2018 with Mon and Howard, a whiteboard, and a frustration.
Most data work they’d seen was slow, over-engineered, and disconnected from the decisions it was supposed to support. They wanted to build something faster, more commercial, and more honest about what was actually possible.
The name comes from “bleeding edge” — the commitment to bringing what’s next before it becomes standard practice. In 2018 that meant advanced analytics. Then machine learning. Now it’s agentic AI. The edge keeps moving. That’s the point. But the foundation hasn’t changed — it’s always been the data.
Eight years on, we’re a team of 60+ data specialists across Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra — Great Place to Work® certified three times over, not as a badge, but because we genuinely believe you can’t build great things for clients with a team that isn’t looked after.
