Monica Ly

Monica co-founded EdgeRed with deep roots in customer analytics, data governance and commercial data strategy. With over a decade of experience across financial services, retail and government, she’s led data platform transformations, designed governance frameworks and taken client-facing data products from concept through to commercial launch.

She operates effectively at the executive level — equally comfortable shaping strategy  and doing the hands-on modelling work herself when the engagement calls for it. Her engagements are built around one goal: leaving the data function meaningfully better than she found it.

Outside work: committed bubble tea enthusiast (rarely spotted without one), guest lecturer at universities, board member of AMSI, member of AustMS, and genuinely invested in building the next generation of data professionals through EdgeRed’s graduate program.
