The Challenge
A major global software company needed analysts and executives to query large, complex user datasets without writing SQL or navigating sprawling reports. The challenge wasn’t just access — it was accuracy at scale, with underlying tables running into billions of rows and a user base ranging from executives needing high-level KPIs to analysts asking highly granular, product-specific questions.

Orchestration & safeguards
Intelligent routing, refusal logic and provenance surfacing - so users get targeted, trustworthy answers without knowing which model is handling their query. -
Evaluation framework
A comprehensive eval suite with a Streamlit dashboard for tracking SQL quality, accuracy, cost and answer relevance across runs.
The Outcome
Delivered in under three months. What started as a challenge of accuracy at scale – billions of rows, two very different user personas, and no room for inconsistent answers – became a single conversational interface that handles everything from executive KPI queries to granular product-level analysis, without a single SQL query written.
