EdgeRed Analytics Pty Limited (ABN 50 623 103 819) (we, us or our) is committed to protecting your privacy and handling personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information, and how individuals may exercise their rights.

Google Analytics:
We may use Google Analytics Advertising Features. This may involve first-party and third-party cookies and identifiers. You may opt out using Google’s tools (see Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, Ads Preferences Manager, or mobile ad settings).

 

Overseas disclosures

We may disclose or store personal information overseas, including with third parties who provide cloud hosting, analytics or recruitment services. Where practicable, we will identify the countries in which recipients are located. We will only disclose personal information overseas in accordance with the APPs.

 

Automated decision-making

We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools for recruitment purposes, both internally and as part of solutions provided to our clients. These tools may process personal information including identity, contact and professional data, as well as CV/resume information. They may be used to sort, filter and assess applications against role descriptions.

When we provide these solutions to clients, we do not control the personal information processed by those clients — applicants should refer to the relevant client’s privacy policy.

When we use these solutions internally, our approach is governed by the terms of this Privacy Policy.

 

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Measures include access controls, encryption, secure servers, firewalls and confidentiality obligations for staff. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Information transmitted over the internet is at your own risk.

 

Accessing or correcting your personal information

You have rights under the Privacy Act to:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you,
  • ask us to update or correct inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information,
