Snowflake Data World Tour 2024 in Sydney
Last week Sydney held its second annual SXSW event, spanning the whole week and taking over much of Darling Harbour. EdgeRed had the opportunity to showcase E.R.I.C.A (our in-house AI) in the form of a short video screened at the National AI Centre stall within SXSW’s Tech and Innovation Expo, to help promote AI adoption. This was very exciting for us and naturally, we had to go watch our video being displayed there; and also visit all the other captivating things at SXSW. The day proved to be very insightful showing us where the tech industry is today and the direction it was heading towards (with AI and VR shaping the future landscape).
It was also very interesting to see how other industries such as tourism, sports and fitness, and agriculture are also leveraging the use of AI and other technologies.
